The TB1-K v2 - CT Emerge is a single-use medical device for hospitals.
It provides effective, safe preservation and transport of the donor kidney for transplantation by combining a hypothermic system with ultrasound.
MeDev Consulting carried out the design and development of the device.
It also performed the design validation towards CE MD marking: EMC, electrical safety, functionality, usability, sterility and stability.
32 units of the device were developed and manufactured for the EMERGE clinical study.
